Other influences- Music video

 A music video that inspires me through the sound, camerawork, editing and Mise-en-scene is ' I took a pill in Ibiza' by Mike Posner. It inspires me as the video tells the audience a story of how his night on this 'pill' went.

Sound- The pace of the song matches very well with the peoples movements. Effective to audience when watching as it makes it feel more realistic and they can get a better insight of the songs message.

Camerawork and editing- We see him at the start when he takes the pill looking at himself in the bathroom mirror, the camera shows us his POV in the mirror. The movements are in slower-motion then normal giving off the sense to the audience what Mike Posner can feel/see when on the drug he has taken. We see many different shots including extreme close ups of Mike Posner odd cartoonish face. It includes many long shots showing Mike Posner having a good time in a crowd, it is effective as we can see the setting and the atmosphere through how he is feeling and what he can see through POV shots . 

M-E-S- Firstly the figure that Mike Posner changes to after he takes the pill. He can see himself in the mirror, where his head looks cartoonish and very unrealistic. However it is very effective as it signifies to the audience how he's feelings at the current time. The setting is a party type setting with bright flashing lights and events happening in the video that happen at parties e.g. sex, people being sick, fights, dancing.drinking etc.
